Odd-Arne Jacobsen - Manha de carnaval (Live on Brasilian radio)

In 1965, at only 18, Jacobsen performed Brazilian composer Waldir Azevedo’s “Amorada” for an NRK radio production in Tromsø. He had been playing guitar for approximately four years, yet the recording already revealed the melodic phrasing, distinctive vibrato and individual sense of expression that would remain central to his musical identity. The Brazilian connection now feels almost prophetic. More than six decades later, Jacobsen’s music is again reaching listeners in Brazil this time through radio playlisting.
